Teknomek is the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hygienic stainless steel equipment and furniture. Formed in 1987, Teknomek manufacture and supply furniture across all kinds of hygiene-conscious environments – from food to pharmaceutical, medical to scientific research with customers across the UK, Europe, US and beyond.
With a Magento site which was approaching it's end of life and the requirement to integrate with their Opera accounting and business system (via Kamarin KC EC SmartLink), Affinity were commissioned to design and build a new Magento 2 site for Tekonomek.
Working with a vibrant and well established brand the site needed to not only provide an excellent user experience but also improve on the previous search function allowing viewers to easily find their desired product. This together with new functionality allowing clients to link to their credit accounts plus an improved checkout process to aid conversion has resulted in a class leading B2B Ecommerce experience.
