To ensure their new wesbite made an impact on the major search engine
Sharp’s Bedrooms Limited is the UK’s leading fitted bedroom and home office furniture specialist.
With a strong brand and a name that’s well-known in the industry, its focus is on bespoke fitted bedroom furniture designed to meet the customer’s needs.
With a newly designed website, Sharps needed help to ensure it made an impact on the major search engines and to see a return on investment worthy of the brand. With a strong online presence in paid search, Sharps had very little influence on the organic search engine rankings. The brief was to focus on not only improving rankings but ensuring that the right keywords were targeted to ensure online enquires and conversion rate also improved.
29% organic traffic increase
on a monthly basis
63.14% 63.14% increase in organic traffic
since new site launch
73.65% increase in conversion rate
80% increase in non-branded traffic
in the first three months and over 70% increase in leads generated
Although Sharps has 110 showrooms nationwide, they had very little information in the localised listings – as these listing now appear within the organic search results it was imperative that this was addressed immediately, as it was also a massive opportunity for extra traffic.
We then conducted a full competitor analysis alongside a full website audit resulting in an ongoing strategy for the optimisation process. The strategy was focused on not only improving rankings but also ensuring that the right keywords were targeted to ensure online enquires also grew.
- 29% organic traffic increase on a monthly basis
- 63.14% increase in organic traffic since new site launch
- 73.65% increase in conversion rate
- 80% increase in non-branded traffic in the first three months. And over 70% increase in leads generated
Within a short period of time, the search engine optimisation techniques quickly took effect. A number of key terms that were not previously ranked in the top 500 began climbing up the listings appearing on the first or second page, some of the more important terms such as ‘fitted bedroom furniture’, ‘fitted bedrooms’ and ‘fitted wardrobes’ gaining the top spot(s) on Google despite strong competition in the market.
So far non-branded organic traffic has seen a large increase on a monthly basis with a large percentage of the visitors coming through the search engine through a variety of different keywords. With the improvement in ranking thanks to the optimisation carried out by Affinity iMarketing, some of the key terms have seen significant increases in the amount of traffic sent to the site.
Affinity have been Sharps Bedrooms’ appointed Digital Agency for over 4 years. It’s their ability to ensure Sharps remain on the curve of digital marketing developments coupled with a robust and trusted team who can react that continues to impress and reassure Sharps.
