Developing creative solutions that promote the RG Abrey Farms brand ethos

RG Abrey Farms was founded in Suffolk's Box Valley in 1939 by the late Russel Gordon Abrey. The company is now a third-generation family farming business that grows combinable crops and sugar beet. They also specialise in early new season root vegetable production and have modern storage solutions that support year-round supply. Their annual production margins are in excess of 100,000 tonnes of root vegetables, which are supplied directly to multiples, packers, wholesale and processing outlets with other arable crops that complement the rotation.

Their progressive approach is geared towards energy-efficient production which is why their facilities include over 400 million gallons of winter storage water and 30,000 tonnes of specialist vegetable storage. They also have grading and packing lines capable of producing anything from 1kg up to 1-tonne bags in various formats.

RG Abrey Farms approached Affinity to complete a major creative review encompassing the main brand and several sub-brands. These sub-brands reflect their initiatives regarding supply for schools and high-class restaurants with a desire for organic credentials. The work scope included everything from new packaging designs to corporate collateral and exhibition material.
