QD Stores is an independently owned chain of discount retail stores with a high street presence in many of the larger towns and cities throughout East Anglia and the Home Counties. The website sells many of the in-store products and includes a diverse range of categories, such as garden furniture to pet food and seasonal goods, at quality discount prices.
One of the busiest times of the year for QD Stores is Christmas. They're known for offering a wide range of fantastic, affordable Christmas decor, including indoor and outdoor lights, inflatables, baubles, cosy winter soft furnishings, games and more.
Since we have been working with them for many years and have their social media, PPC and other marketing activity in hand, we were asked to help create keyword-optimised content for their Christmas category and product pages. The idea was to increase their SERP rankings for their online Christmas items and give their users some context and ideas for using the festive items. To do this, we created a drop-down FAQ-like content sections on the relevant pages, which optimised space and allowed room for the content to support the SEO.
