New site for long standing Affinity client
From humble beginnings in 1950's with the manufacture of fishing nets to becoming the leading UK sports manufacturer Harrod have become an enviable reputation for innovative product design. Harrod Horticultural launched in 2000 and Affinity have supported Harrod's digital presence since 2011.
After Affinity's first eCommerce implementation for Harrod and subsequent development, it was time for their 4th generation responsive site.
Following a strategic 12 month CRO programme Affinity had not only gained valuable insights but had already been fine-tuning the conversion rates across the site. These learnings proved invaluable to insure the new site portrayed Harrod's products at their best, presented an intuitive user journey and an optimised buying process.
Since the launch, the site has been very well received with great feedback from existing and new customers. This together with continued improvements in conversion rates and revenue have contributed to a very successful relaunch.
We have worked with Affinity for 5 years and during this time we have developed a very strong working relationship. Since launching the site we have had complete site overhauls, a new mobile site not to mention the hundreds of updates and improvements that we have carried out and this is always carried out efficiently to meet our required deadlines. Affinity have developed a good understanding of our business and at our meetings will readily advise of further developments or any new best practice that we should be considering and suggest the best ways to implement these changes.
Affinity also manage a lot of our SEO work which has proven very successful with substantial improvements in our Organic traffic and improved Google rankings on all of our core terms – we currently have 19 of our core terms in the top 5 on Google with 8 terms in the 1st position. Their advice on our adword account, social media and content has proved invaluable over the years and we currently feel we are in a very strong position for the future.
