Badger Learning

Digital Marketing / Outreach

Gaining visibility in a highly competitive market

For more than 30 years, Badger Learning has been committed to supplying quality educational materials to schools to help children improve their reading skills and thrive in life.

Affinity and Badger Learning have worked together for many years across a range of digital marketing activities, but the SEO and Outreach teams were tasked with focusing on the SEO, authority and visibility of the site.

  • Consistent DA growth
  • Only 1 month to repair the Google Update Impact
  • 100% outreach success rate

The Approach
Working in close partnership with Badger Learning’s top team, we worked to identify issues such as site speed, toxic links and key content areas for focus in our outreach activity. From there, we put together a plan of monitoring and calendar events such as World Book Day and Roald Dahl Day and more child, school and teacher-focused days to help inform our optimisation and outreach strategies.

The Result
The online bookstore industry is saturated, but Badger Learning has a unique offering that makes them stand out from the crowd. We were able to make the most of their products and releases, such as their Dual Language English-Ukraine ebooks and Summer Learning Loss toolkits to secure high-value links that lend to their authority. Combined with the SEO optimisation and keyword planning, this all resulted in valuable DA growth, far outpacing that of their competitors, and consistently high search traffic.

  • Domain Authority grew by 5 points
  • Increased authority after the Google Update
  • DA growth exceeded that of their competitors by 250%

We have worked with the Affinity team on a number of website developments and they are a professional team, responsive, and they have worked very well to the project outlines and budgets we have.
