Gideon Graylyons Creative Director

Gideon has a real passion for design and the creative media, born and educated in London he attended The London School of Printing where he gained a HND in graphic design. Brochure and magazine layouts, advertising campaigns including work in television, brand development and corporate identity are just some of the disciplines in which he has excelled on behalf of clients such as Aviva, RSPB, Capezio Balletmakers Europe and English Nature.

Gideon is interested in all things Italian, photography, music and cinema.

Neil Barrell Senior Graphic Designer

Neil arrived at Affinity as a fresh faced, long haired youth! Oh how the times have changed. Now many, many years later, Neil has established himself as a Senior Designer with a wealth of experience and knowledge in all printed media. Having studied at Lowestoft College, (the home town of the fish finger) for four years, he came away with an HND in Design, ready to tackle the big, bad world of design and advertising.

In his spare time he is passionate about music and gigs, loves the cinema and long beach walks with his family and their two dogs. 

Alex Seeley Senior Account Manager

An experienced Senior Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the digital industry and commercial acumen, Alex has gathered a wealth of experience and knowledge within the online digital industry since joining affinity in 2013. He has an excellent theoretical knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP and a strong understanding of what goals can be achieved and how to achieve them in the best way, particularly with UX/UI and best practices in mind.

Alex is proficient across a number of platforms including; Magento 1, Magento 2, WordPress, WooCommerce, Umbraco, Joomla, Drupal and custom CMS platforms, with a good eye for spotting and developing opportunities and maximising existing resources for the best results.

Max Edwards Group Managing Director

Max joined the company in 1986, as Director of Client Services and became Group Managing Director. Still responsible for overall client services. He is also Account Director on two of the Group's largest retail clients. A strong background in retail services and an active interest in technical innovation allied to ecrm solutions provides clients with access to the latest techniques and trends in the retail sector combined with a 'feet on the ground' approach to practical production issues.

Kerri Sallee Senior Account Manager

Kerri began and cemented her career in digital marketing in the fiercely competitive travel & tourism industry working for a leading car hire company. This afforded Kerri worthwhile client side experience across a variety of marketing disciplines including paid and organic search, content marketing and social media marketing. Kerri joined the Affinity iMarketing team in February 2014 and now manages a realm of marketing clients, as a Senior Account Manager. Outside of work, Kerri is passionate about travel and good food (cooking, baking and eating out!).

Danni Williamson Production Manager

Danni has grown with the business and taken on new challenges throughout her career: starting on reception; expanding in to advertising Account Management; through to online Account Management; and currently is now the online division’s Production Manager.

Chloe Burrage Head of Client Services

Chloe joined the Affinity Digital team in November 2011. Starting her client services career in a photographic gallery in Brighton, after moving back to Norwich, Chloe made the transition into marketing and never looked back. Joining us from a large multi-national marketing agency, Chloe worked on accounts such as IBM, Durham Business School and Scottish Power to name but a few.

Chloe has a love for contemporary photography, so much so she ended up marrying a Photographer to complete her collection! Her spare time is spent gallery hopping, Pilates and walking her little dog Kofi round the beaches of Norfolk.

Thomas Lubbock Strategic and Business Development Director

A child of the 70s, (which goes someway to explaining his love of 70s sports cars and vintage chronograph watches) and with over 2 decades of hands on experience within the marketing arena, Thomas is a strong believer in not only the aesthetics but the output - as Winston Churchill once said "however beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results!"

David Tattersall Director

BA educated in TV and Film Graphics, David's creative career saw him freelancing for both the BBC and ITV after leaving the NUA (former Norwich Art School). David left TV News, Magazine programmes and documentaries to pursue a career in Advertising Photography and copy writing. Today he still works as a web blogger, advertising and journalistic copy writer; strategic marketing planner and marketing consultancy advisor to our large group of clients.

Mark Arundel Group Financial Director

With many, many years commercial experience, Mark is a business professional holding the world-respected FCCA financial qualification. 

Although he plays in a weekly game of 6-a-side football, his main interest, away from work, lies in going on holiday where he whizzes down mountains on two planks of wood, or paddles around the shallows with his face in the water breathing through a plastic tube. It will come as no surprise to many of you that Mark is unmarried.

Tanya Cheung Web Designer

On completing her degree in Design, Tanya embarked on a career in print, specialising in fine stationery. After a further 2 years of part-time studying and another HND under her belt plus 4 years of print experience, Tanya decided it was time to get creative and joined Affinity Advertising. As senior designer, she works on many of our key accounts.

When she is not in front of her Mac, she is off on family city breaks, watching TV series or snapping pictures of everything and anything.

Anna Redding Account Manager

With an existing background in marketing and completing a Business Administration Apprenticeship, Anna was an ideal candidate for the Client Services team. Specialising in offline work, Anna is happy to turn her hand to any aspect of the business. She brings a wealth of experience from work and spending a considerable amount of time travelling.

Claire Robertson Account Director

Fully qualified from Degree BSc (hons) to Professional Diploma CIM, Claire has the expertise and knowledge to deliver a brand through CMC (Co-ordinated Marketing Campaigns), all types of media and overseeing delivery from the team’s skilled designers and developers.

Having a love of dancing, being a keen electric organist, and a healthy social life, keeps Claire’s diary full.

James Young Web Designer

Originally from Essex, James managed to avoid the lure of modified Escorts, came to Norwich, studied design and typography, met Wim Crowel, spent several years designing for print then switched to digital design.

When not pushing pixels James can be found enjoying the sticky flooring and plastic glasses at various gig's, watching classic 80's movies and taking friendly games of squash far too seriously.

Joel Graham Senior Web Developer

Aha! An Alan Partridge fanatic, Joel will eventually turn the whole team crazy with his incessant quoting of the Norwich icon. Joel joined affinity in early 2015 and soon settled into the friendly work environment and is now a Magento certified front end developer. 

Originally Joel worked as an outdoor instructor before becoming a web developer. He's a keen musician boasting talents in piano, saxophone and bass. Obviously, this comes in handy when performing at Church events in which he is an active member of his community.

He also claims to like football despite being a Spurs fan.

Karl Izzard Digital Director

Karl is Head of Division at Affinity Digital and his wealth of experience in his previous roles including Head of Technical Development provides Affinity clients with a depth of experience and a knowledge base that allows them to be judges 'best in class'. He has successfully helped establish Affinity as a UK Top 100 Digital Agency for the last 5 years.

Matthew Layden Head of Technical Development

Having worked in the industry for over a decade, Matthew has seen the industry evolve from single one page sites to vast database driven monsters spanning multiple servers. As a problem solver, he can diagnose any website or server issue quickly and efficiently.

He has a real interest in what he does and his personal life is not too different from what is seen at work, only adding geeky interests like gadgets, computer gaming & the odd bit of Japanese culture.

Mattie Lynn Insights Director

Graduated from the University of Greater Manchester with First Class Honours in Graphic Design (and a standard designers obsession for well-kerned Helvetica). After producing campaign work for some the UK's largest B2B and B2C clients including: Innocent Drinks, Jordans Cereals, Kingsmill, & Aviva, he arrived at the Affinity front doors in 2009 with over 10 years experience in both traditional and digital media.

Rarely spotted away from his MacBook, he may be found luring monster pike from the local River Wensum. 'Seriously - We're gonna needed a bigger boat!'

Andy Horne Head of SEO

Andy started off building and designing websites and, with a strong ethic of doing the best job possible, he naturally progressed into SEO. Now, with over a decade's worth of experience, he heads the SEO team within Affinity iMarketing and continues to provide the very best results for our clients.

Andy's passions outside of work include a love of fashion, particularly Vivienne Westwood, golfing and go-kart racing which takes up most of his time. He works with a top Karting team in his spare time, which happily takes him on adventures all over the world.

Natalie Haydon Divisional Director

Natalie joined in September 2017 to head up the iMarketing team bringing a wealth of knowledge from her 10 years at Optimise Media. Working on client accounts such as npower, HSBC, M&S, Tesco, Debenhams and Barclays she built up a broad knowledge of the digital landscape and specialised in performance marketing.

Natalie brings vast experience and passion for identifying new technologies and cutting edge trends within the digital marketing industry to enable clients to push boundaries, drive increase share of voice and improve return on investment.

Stephen Bowen Head of iMarketing Technical Services

Stephen has been working on websites for longer than he can remember. He started building basic websites and soon progressed to building full ecommerce PHP and ASP driven websites. He now works exclusively with the marketing division, implementing new features to aid the search engine friendliness of client’s websites.

He spends his time away from work designing, building and crashing model airplanes and helicopters at his local flying field.

Michael Ford Business Development Manager

With over 7 years within digital marketing, as well as extensive b2b business development experience, spanning across several industries, Michael has developed a thorough understanding of businesses, how to best fulfil their needs and ultimately what strategy is right for them.

Outside of work, Michael coaches Thai Boxing and MMA to several students and up and coming fighters. Michael himself competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as the odd triathlon and running race now and then. When not working and not getting worn-out, bashed and bruised, Michael enjoys family time with his wife, 2 boisterous, yet charming boys and their menagerie of pets. 

Kurt Livie Web Developer

After graduating with a First Class Honours, Kurt joined the talented developing team at Affinity. 

Kurt was born in the USA just north of Miami but unwillingly moved to the UK during his infancy. Outside of work, Kurt is an avid lover of tech, staying fit and almost all sports, and in particular has a devotion to football and snowboarding.  It is also known that he has as a strong love affair with Dominos pizza. 

Those that know him must be wary as he can be easily confused with his identical twin!

Matthew Howman Head of Paid Search & Innovation

Matthew entered the marketing world as a paid search strategist for a major financial services company in Norwich. Looking to broaden his horizons, he joined the Affinity iMarketing team in 2015 as Digital Marketing Account Manager. A multi-channel champion, Matthew works closely with a multitude of clients, planning and delivering successful SEO, PPC and Social Media campaigns.

A massive football fan, Matthew is a season ticket holder at Norwich City and also has a monthly fans column in the EDP where he delivers his views to the region. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, watching football and being a slave to his two cats.

Becky Darby Account Manager

Becky graduated from Birmingham University in 2013 with a BA Hons in Business and Advertising and fortunately for us she’s taken the decision to hone her craft in an agency environment.

Strong administrative skills and an excellent manner with clients makes Becky a perfect addition to the client services team.

She has an intense love of dogs (although not enough to be classed a crazy dog lady), a strange accent and enjoys spending time scouring Norfolk for culinary delights.

Jacob Drummond Web Developer

A keen developer from a young age (9!) Jacob has always had a passion for all things techy and now he makes his trade doing what he loves.

Jacob studied Economics at the University of Durham, but decided to leave and turn back to the thing he does so well – and us for one are very happy he did!

Originally hailing from Brighton, Jacob moved to Wymondham when he was 5 with his family. He still lives there now with his girlfriend and can be found sailing and canoeing down on the broads at Barton Turf or just chilling out with friends. 

Aaron Fulcher Business Development Executive

After graduating from sixth form, studying sociology, politics, law, and media, Aaron somehow managed to maintain an active interest in politics. A Norwich City season ticket holder with a love for all things French, especially the wine! His weekends are occupied by watching his beloved NCFC, spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends, and learning French and Swedish language. 

Having also studied Graphic Design and Media Studies, Aaron has a love for all things creative. 

Ben Halliday Web Developer

Underneath a multitude of tattoos lurks over 18 years of studio experience. Ben started programming in his early teens, writing software and games. When the internet arrived, he started building websites. In the last decade, he’s held Senior and Lead development positions, constantly learning to keep ahead of the ever-changing digital world.

When not writing code, you’ll find him either meddling with photography, seeking out Transformers for his collection, playing drums late at night, watching low-budget horror movies or chasing after Charlie, his rescue Chihuahua.

 

Sofia Martins Business Development Executive

Sofia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Languages & Communication, with focus on English and French. Her background includes administrative, social media management, event planning, translation, interpretation and transcription.  

Being in the midst of nature is one of her favourite past times, as well as taking photos of all the pretty places she's visited.  Reading and writing are her two other passions. “'The pen is mightier than the sword', should be a worldwide anthem, now more than ever".

Matthew Kincarr PPC Account Executive

After graduating with an MA(Hons) in Creative Practice, Matthew dabbled in the online world of designer furniture stores and writing blogs on various interior design tips and tricks.

Matthew has been known to many as “Baloo” for his teddy bear-like demeanour and chilled-out nature, whilst equally able to put a foot down to ensure all goals are met. Outside of work, Matthew can be seen meticulously perfecting costume pieces for various comic-conventions, broadening culinary experiences, and a keen enthusiasm for writing stories, including creating content for roleplaying games.

James Murray Link Builder & Content Writer

After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Film and English Studies, James entered the world of marketing as a Content Writer, producing copy and blogs for one of the country's biggest mattress specialists. 

After several years of creating content almost entirely about the science of sleep, James branched out and now has a bevy of articles published online, from technical pieces about security software to money-saving advice columns for holidaymakers.

James enjoys knitting for friends and family (mostly scarves), and loves to lose himself in a good book. Although that doesn't always work out, especially when his book club picks a true-crime novel.
