Magento support for the 2.4.0-2.4.3 ends on November 28 2022

 Support for Magento  2.4.0 – 2.4.3 release line ends on November 28, 2022.

Although Magento sites utilising earlier versions of Magento will still operate there will be no official support for any versions older than 2.4.3 after November 28th 2022.  This will mean Magento will no longer actively search for vulnerabilities within these versions and publish official patches covering multiple security and stability issues.

Previous experience has proven from the date Magento stops releasing security patches, hackers will automatically be hunting out security flaws in eCommerce sites that are still on unsupported versions of Magento.

Further, running an unsupported application fails PCI DSS compliance which may impact on merchant functionality for taking payments online.
