Charity Euro 2016 sweepstake

Today is the start of the Euro 2016 and while the majority of the office will be cheering on England except our one Wales supporter (there’s always one), we are also using the championship to raise money for the charity CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably.

CALM aims to prevent male suicide in the UK. Suicide is the single biggest cause of death in men under 45 in the UK; while in 2014 male suicide accounted for 76% of all suicides in this country. The money we raise during Euro 2016 will go towards providing help and support via the charity’s website and helpline, while also helping to raise awareness.

We have already held an office sweepstake, in which all the money added will be donated to the charity. In addition to this, we have set up a fundraising page so that anyone can help us reach, and hopefully surpass, are target amount.
