The Lathams brand has been world-famous as the go-to shopping attraction on the Norfolk Broads for over 50 years

The Lathams story began in 1963 when Ken Latham opened the general store - known as 'Aladdin's Cave'. Since then, Lathams has stocked everything for the holidaymaker and visiting fisherman, even supplying grocery orders to nearby moored-up cruisers.

Alongside the picturesque nature of Potter Heigham and the Broads, Lathams has become an attraction in its own right in recent years, boasting the title of ‘The Biggest Discount Superstore on the Broads’. Add in the world-famous Lathams Fishing Store, and it's clear to see why this well-loved location has endured.

Affinity has worked with the Lathams brand since it was purchased by the QD Group in the late 1980s. As well as handling their overall advertising account and advising on strategic planning and marketing initiatives, we've worked with them to design own-brand packaging, represent the brand online with support from Affinity Digital, develop multichannel offline marketing campaigns and more.

Affinity have looked after all of the QD Group websites for a number of years and I am delighted that when we went out to tender recently for a major redevelopment of our main ecommerce operations, Affinity were successful in winning the design, website build and online marketing contracts.
